In the summer of 2018, 33 students and community members of all ages created Hartford City’s first piece of public artwork. They painted four 8-foot panels with mural artist Christine Kuhn. The panels are now on display at the Nature Play area behind the public library. This was an opportunity for children to have another unique arts education experience.
A $1,000 grant from the Foundation helped cover the muralist’s fees, travel, and instructional art supplies.
