Scholarship Season in Full Swing!

Hopeful high school seniors have submitted their applications for the 80+ scholarships available through the Foundation. Scholarships provide from several hundred to several thousand dollars toward tuition for a student’s first year in college or a vocational program. Winners will be announced May 21 at the 2017 Honor Program at Blackford High School.

Scholarships for Current College Students Available

Students studying at a college or vocational school often struggle to find the dollars for the third semester and later.
  • High school scholarships are gone.
  • School expenses are just as much.
  • The Foundation is trying to meet that need with four postsecondary scholarship funds that awarded almost $11,000 to college and vocational students last year.
Details and applications for 2017 postsecondary scholarships are available through July 6 here.

Latest Round of Grants Awarded

Sixteen grants were awarded March 20 for $125,000 to local nonprofits, schools, and libraries. View the specifics of the other 13 grants here.
